| NOTICE NOTICE NOTICE NOTICE The KM Mountain (147.02) repeater now has a remote receiver on Puget Island to make it easier when using a handheld or mobile in or around the Cathlamet area -especially downtown, and assuming that NICOLAI 444.500 is running. Use the same transmit offset frequency (147.62) you normally would, but instead of the 118.8 PL USE A PL OF 110.9... This will transmit a UHF link signal to NICOLAI that will key 147.02 via the BEACHNET system). There is a slight delay when keying up so hold your PTT button for a second before speaking. Additionally, a BEACHNET Control Operator, due to local EMCOMM scenarios and/or training, can arrange for the KM and NICOLAI repeaters to be linked to each other and disconnected/independent from the BEACHNET system. |
